Today was my first chance to film with my new performer Charlotte, unfortuantly light is starting to fade and proving hard to get a nice natural light, I managed to find a nice plain wall for Charlotte to perform in front of which was reasonably well light, we completed lots of close up shots and organised other shots, however we could not do these shots in the locations I had originally planned I decided on a new location and adapted my ideas to compliment this location.
Here are some images of my first location
This is the location in which I filmed most of the close ups the simple plain white wall made it very easy to not distract the audiences eye and focus on the performer and her actions/ what she was singing.
Here is location 2
This location was used for the sections in which I shot Charlotte performing into the mirror, the lights added a girly but vintage feel while beautifully lighting Charlotte's face, I personally loved the shots which were taken in this mirror and believe it helped add story line and depth to my music video.
Filming Day 2 (6/11/12)
Today was the second day of shooting and we focused on filming a lot of mid to long shots as these were scenes that I lacked, we also focused on filling in gaps that I was aware needed a certain type of shot, again we used the pain white wall for the close ups but we used a 3rd location which was outside to film the longer shots which involved the use of powder paint for fun and to again enforce the girly and fun feel I wanted for my to be shown in my video.
This is the garden that we filmed in, I had space for Charlotte to move in and it allowed us to use the powder paint without ruining anything that may be inside, also the use of an outside light gave us a source of light which highlighted Charlotte and made her stick out from a dulling background sky.
Here is an image of me filming today
This location was difficult for me to film in as the space wasn't very large but I managed to be able to fit into the gap in order to film all the scenes I needed.
